MasterCard is launching a sweepstakes this week for a chance to win a vacation on a private island. The sweepstakes will be featured on this week's Super Bowl XXXV. The "MasterCard Getaways Sweepstakes" is an online travel promotion, located on www.mastercard.com.  Eligible MasterCard cardholders can enter the sweepstakes online for a chance to win the Grand Prize -- an eight-day, seven-night vacation for the winner and up to nine friends on a tropical paradise located in the British Virgin Islands. The 54-acre private island, which provides expansive views of the U.S. Virgin Islands in the distance, promises complete seclusion as it accommodates a maximum capacity of 10 guests. While on the island, guests can enjoy the golden sand beach and a large pool terrace with gazebo or take part in a variety of activities including snorkeling, sailing, wind-surfing, water skiing and fishing. In addition to the Grand Prize private island vacation, MasterCard will also award a total of nine Weekly Prize vacation packages consisting of a seven-day, six-night vacation for two to each Weekly Prize winners choice of one of the following destinations United Kingdom, Hawaii, the Caribbean or a Caribbean Cruise.

Eligible MasterCard cardholders who visit www.mastercard.com between January 28, 2001 and March 31, 2001 can enter the sweepstakes by completing an online entry form.
