Pep Boys Card (3/1/00)

FULL STORY:

Manny, Moe and Jack have added some pep to their credit card. Pep Boys, the automotive aftermarket retail and service chain, has re-launched its credit card this week. GE Card Services is the new provider of the Pep Boys Credit Card. Part of the makeover includes access to the CarCareOne network. This will enable Pep Boys cardholders to access and charge services at more than 5,000 participating retailers nationwide instead of just the 662 Pep Boys locations. Pep Boys is also offering 10% off a customer's first charge when customers apply for and use the card, now through March 31. The card features 90-days same-as-cash on all purchases over $150 with a minimum monthly payment required; 25 day interest free grace period on all purchases under $150; and emergency roadside assistance services that covers jump starts, towing (up to 25 miles), tire change (with an inflated spare), fluid replacement, and lock-out service. Pep Boys is also running a five-week employee incentive program that rewards employees every time they process 10 approved applications.  For more information or to apply for the new Pep Boys CarCareOne card, visit any Pep Boys location or www.pepboys.com. Customers can find the nearest location by dialing 1-800-PEP-BOYS.
