Prepaid gift cards from MasterCard are now available from a Newport Beach, CA-based firm called CardEx Incentives. The company released a special Millennium MasterCard GiftCard and two other holiday-themed MasterCard GiftCards this week. The holiday GiftCards are all available in prepaid denominations, in $25 increments. A CardEx GiftCard is a MasterCard debit card with a preset dollar amount that is determined by the giver. The recipient can use the card just like any other MasterCard card to make purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted. The amount of each purchase is deducted from the total balance until funds are depleted. CardEx MasterCard GiftCards are prepaid, so recipients need not disclose personal credit information. CardEx offers recipients 24-hour automated access to card balance and transaction history information, as well as highly trained customer service professionals during normal business hours.
