MasterCard International has introduced a special “Shop Smart! For Your Sweetheart” Internet site just for their cardholders that can’t get to the store on time.  Loaded with lots of goodies from flowers and teddy bears to chocolates and romantic getaways, there’s bound to be something your sweetheart would love.

The site links consumers to over 400 Shop Smart! online retailers, including more than 160 selected merchants that offer special discounts exclusively for consumers who pay with a MasterCard. All you have to do is access www.mastercard.com/valentine.

For last minute gift-givers looking for such favorite gifts as flowers, teddy bears or jewelry, the following merchants will accept orders with a MasterCard up until 1:00 PM ET on Friday, February 12 and still deliver in time for Valentine’s Day:

--PC Flowers:  A 10% discount on all products when paying with a MasterCard card.

--The Vermont Teddy Bear Company:  MasterCard cardholders that send a Bear-Gram for Valentines Day can choose from over 100 combinations of bears and outfits, including a hand-crafted teddy bear with a romantic personalized card and a chocolate treat.

--Service Merchandise:  Savings on fine jewelry when paying with a MasterCard, and free shipping on orders of $150 or more from February 1-14.
