The card brings together an unprecedented group of 17 Las Vegas
hotel/casinos and seven publicly traded and closely held companies. First USA
is issuing the card.
Along with delivering a 4.9 percent introductory APR for the first five
billing cycles, cardmembers can earn 1-percent cash back, issued in
$10 increments on their monthly statements. Las Vegas residents also will be
able to earn 3 percent higher cash rebates on purchases made through the local
Visa Las Vegas Merchant Network.
In addition, cardmembers receive up to $25 in combined reward certificates
when they use their card each month within the first five months of having it.
Reward certificates are redeemable for cash or credit toward purchases at
the following sites: Boulder Station, Buffalo Bill's, Circus Circus,
Excaliber, Fitzgeralds, Gold Strike, Luxor, Mandalay Bay (opening in the
spring of 1999), Monte Carlo, Nevada Landing, New Frontier, Palace Station,
Primm Valley Resort, Sunset Station, Texas Station, Tropicana and Whiskey
Pete's. Applications will also be available at these sites or by calling toll
free, 888-318-9455.
The Las Vegas parachute group, the Flying Elvi, delivered the card Friday
in ceremonies at the Sunset Station Hotel/Casino. The card is issued by First
USA and shows the nighttime skyline of the Las Vegas Strip.

International and First USA teamed up to issue the card which brings
